Rooted in Stewardship. Built on Experience.
Founded in 2019, Odom Forestry was created with a clear purpose—to become better stewards of the land and to serve those who depend on it. Our mission is rooted in the belief that responsible land management is more than a service; it is a commitment to future generations. As conservationist Aldo Leopold wrote, “We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.” That philosophy guides everything we do—striving to leave the land better than we found it.
Odom Forestry is proudly owned and operated by Wayne Suber, who brings over 40 years of experience in land management. His lifelong dedication to forestry, habitat improvement, and responsible land practices shapes the values and standards our company upholds every day.
Our Forest Heritage
Our roots run deep in Bristol, Florida—a community surrounded by some of the most iconic working forests in the Southeast. Nestled among the vast woodlands of the Apalachicola National Forest, Tate’s Hell State Forest, and Lake Talquin State Forest, we were raised in a landscape shaped by timber, wildlife, and responsible land stewardship.
Growing up in one of Florida’s most forest-dense regions instilled in us a deep respect for the land and a clear understanding of the balance between conservation and productivity. That heritage continues to guide our work today—grounded in tradition, driven by experience, and committed to preserving our forests for generations to come.
